  8. It is important to note that Cydia is not yet available for this modification so what you need to do is to ensure that you select the “Install SSH” option. In the screen you will see four check boxes, just check on the first one with “Install SSH” text adjacent to it and then click on the “Next” button.
  9. The next thing to do is to simply put the device in DFU mode. This will start the modification process and you need to ensure that nothing interrupts the process.
  10. Go to the power button and hold it down for five seconds. Hold down the Home button with your other finger for 10 seconds. You need to ensure that you are still holding down the two buttons simultaneously.
  11. Hold the Home button still and release only the power button. You may then continue holding the home button for 15 seconds more.
  12. Look at the software application’s main menu and click on the option that says “Extras” and then “Just boot”.
  13. You will know if the device has already been modified because it will then reboot. Make sure that you release the buttons when the device reboots.
  14. Since Cydia is not included in the software you need to install it on your own. Follow the steps below to install Cydia:
  • Go to your device’s settings and find its Wi-Fi address.
  • Open the Terminal app and type ssh root@[youripaddress]
  • Once you are prompted with for a password just type alpine. If you have changed the SSH password then use the new one.
  • Type

  • The terminal will then run some scripts and once your device reboots it only means that Cydia is already installed.

Pros And Cons In Doing The Modification

Pros

  1. Doing the modification means that you will be free from your mobile service carrier. This means that you will be able to take advantage of pre-paid services and to save a lot of money by not getting stuck into the subscription fees of one network.
  2. Another thing is that you will be able to gain access to a wide variety of exciting applications which can’t be accessed by an unmodified device. Among the applications include the MyWi, Intelliscreen, MxTube, My3G and PDANet.
  3. If you have a modified device it will be quicker and easier for you to open your device.

How To Add Text In Final Cut Pro

1. The first thing that you need to do is to simply open the application (can also work with your iPhone 5).

2. Once it is opened, go to the bottom-left corner of the application and click on the film reel  icon to access the Project Library.

3. You may then double-click on the name of the project that you want the text to be added to.

4.  Go to the top-right corner of your application, click on the grey square called the project’s Bin and click on the tab that says “Effects”.

5. You may then go to the folder that says “Video Generators” and click on it to access the additional options.

6. Once you see the options click on the “Text” folder to open it and then the “Text” option.

7. In your application you will see the Timeline at the bottom part and there is also a portion of time called the Sequence in the video within the Timeline. Just drag the Text option that you have clicked on a while ago to the blank part of your Sequence where you want the text to be added.

8. If you see the need to have a new Sequence added to your Timeline for text just go to the top tool bar and you will see “File”.  Just click on “new” and the choose “Sequence”.

9. In your sequence you will see a Text block that appears and you just have to double-click on it to open it.

10. You will then see a preview of your text that is enlarged in the top middle section of your application or in the Viewer window.

11. In the Viewer window click on the “Controls” tab to open the control panel which allows you to write and modify the text for your video.

12. Go to the right part of the Text section and click on the empty box to write the text that you want to see in a particular Sequence of the video.  If you want to adjust the text features such as the font color, size and type or the alignment you can so in the control panel.

13. Click on the outside of the control panel to preview your text. In order to allow the text to appear when the video plays all you need to do is move the text block above the video clip.

14.  Point on File and then click on “Save Project” to save your video.

How To Get Into Windows Safe Mode

1. The first thing that you should do is to simply power off your PC.

2.  Power the unit back on by pressing the Power button. Once it is powered on reboot the computer.

3. When the unit is starting to reboot press on the “F8” key on the keyboard. You may also press the key more than one time to ensure that it communicates with your PC. In case the Windows logo will show up, you should press the same key again to reboot the computer.

4. In the safe mode menu, you will normally see three options namely the “Safe Mode”, “Safe Mode with Networking” and “Safe Mode with Command Prompt”. The first option is what’s commonly used by users and one that doesn’t need additional support.

5. Once you are in the “Safe mode” menu use the arrow keys of the keyboard to select the “Safe mode” option or the “Safe mode with networking”.  It is important to note that using the first option is normally enough to perform this step.

7. Once the log in screen appears you can then log in to your local account in Safe mode.

  1. Obtain the following: Intel-based Apple computer that has 10.5 Leopard operating system or its later version; full copy of Microsoft operating system, like XP, Vista or 7; and Boot Camp software. Boot Camp is part of 10.5 Leopard.
  2. Make a backup copy of your essential files.
  3. Print the installation and setup guide provided by Boot Camp software.
  4. Update your Apple computer.

Make sure that it is using the latest version of OS X. You must also download and install the latest updates available for your Apple computer’s firmware.

  1. Start Boot Camp Assistant app.

To start this app, you need to go to your Applications folder. Then, click on Utilities.

  2. Insert the Microsoft OS installation CD or DVD.

You must only insert it when prompted.

  1. Wait for the installation to complete.
  2. Remove the OS installation CD of Microsoft.
  3. Insert OS X Leopard installation disc.
